In the time of COVID-19, wearing a face mask is one of the easiest ways to protect yourself and others from spreading the virus. Aloha Vision Consultants, in collaboration with Dr. Yuen’s mom Grandma Yuen, is working to provide quality cotton reusable masks to those in need. All of the doctors and staff had their masks made by Grandma Yuen! Over the course of this journey, Grandma Yuen has made over 2000 masks.
At the beginning of the pandemic, Aloha Vision Consultants gave doctor-approved face masks to other Hawaii physicians and their staff.

Many patients come through Aloha Vision Consultants’ doors with face coverings that they find uncomfortable and difficult to breathe in. The doctors are more than happy to share cloth masks as they are available. Patients love the design and breathability of these masks, and we are happy to share the comfort and protection of our masks. They are so breathable that you can even exercise in them, like Dr. Yuen did while lifting weights!
